Kaye France is an extensively and classically trained filmmaker, writer and actress, born and bred in New York City.

She has been acting and writing since high school, earning a Communications Bachelors of Art and Theatre Arts Minor from the University of Pennsylvania. Furthering her studies, she’s trained at world renowned theaters and with instructors hailing from Stella Adler, NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Fordham University.

As a creator, Ms. France is currently working on various independent projects, in the capacity of writer, producer and actress. She is excited to continue her career in film and television, with the goal of creating unforgettable stories that showcase the transcendent nature of the human experience.

Kaye France was awarded Best Director at the 2025 New York City International Film Festival for her short film directorial debut, Legacy: Chantell. The short is currently on the festival circuit, with additional screenings at NewFilmmakers New York, Twin Cities Film Fest, Big Apple Film Festival, and Raindance New York. Serving as a prequel and proof of concept, it lays the foundation for the feature film Legacy: Sins of the Father, written by Kaye France and currently in pre-production. Both films explore profound themes of parental death, familial legacy, forgiveness, love, and rebirth.
